Chicken Manchurian Recipe Welcome Readers!! I hope you all are doing well in this chilled winters. So I thought of sharing the delicious and tasty recipe of chicken with you guys. Chicken manchurian is an Indo-Chinese cuisine which is really delicious in taste. The boneless chicken pieces are coated in spices and flours and then they are deep fried, further they are added into the prepared manchurian sauce. So let’s know how to make this delicious cuisine.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Chicken Manchurian
- Chicken = 400 gm, boneless
- Egg white = 1 egg’s white
- Ginger and garlic paste = 2 tsp
- All purpose flour = 2 tbsp
- Corn flour = 3 tbsp
- Black pepper powder = 1 tsp
- Soy sauce = 3 tsp
- Salt = as per taste
Ingredients For Manchurian Sauce
- Soy sauce = 2 tbsp
- Tomato ketchup = 4 tbsp
- Red chili sauce = 3 tbsp
- Vinegar = 2 tsp
- Water = as required
- Corn flour = 1 tbsp
- Spring onion whites = 3 tbsp, chopped
- Capsicum = 1 cup, chopped
- Spring onion greens = 3 tbsp, chopped
- Salt = as per taste
Instructions For Making Manchurian
Wash the chicken pieces well and after straining all the water, keep it in a bowl.
Now add soy sauce, salt, black pepper powder and ginger and garlic paste. Mix all the things well with the chicken pieces. (Remember that soy sauce also contains salt, so be careful while adding salt).
Then add egg white, all purpose flour and corn flour. Mix them well so that every chicken piece must be coated well.
Keep this chicken aside for 12 to 15 minutes.
Till chicken is marinated, take a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.
After heating of oil, add the marinated chicken pieces in it and fry till the beautiful golden brown color appears on it.
When chicken is fried well and turn crisp then transfer it to a kitchen towel to remove excess oil. Make sure that chicken is cooked and tendered well before adding it to a sauce.
Instructions For Making Manchurian Sauce
Take a wok or a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.
After heating of oil, add spring onion whites in it and saute for 1 minute and then add ginger and garlic paste in it, saute till the raw smell disappears.
Further add chopped capsicum and stir it well for 2 minutes.
Take a small bowl, add corn flour in it and make a slurry of it by adding water, make sure it will be lumps free.
Now add all the sauces, black pepper powder and salt in it, mix well and then add prepared slurry in a pan and mix it continuously.
Ones it starts bubbling, add chicken manchurian in it and turn the flame off. Give it a stir and the transfer it in a serving bowl.
Serve it hot by garnishing some chopped spring onion greens. Serve it with rice or have it individually.
