Tori Ke Kabab Recipe This is a delicious kebab recipe and those who are pure vegan this kebab comes out to be an awesome for them as they are made with the peel of tori/turai. While we are making turai ki sabzi, we dump the peel of tori, but here we are going to make delicious kebab out of it. The taste, the spiciness and the flavor of this kebab is so delicious that you will never ever gonna dump the peel of tori. So let’s know how to make these kebab.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Tori Ke Kabab
- Thick skin of tori = 1 cup
- Split chickpea (chana dal) = 1/4 cup
- Black cardamom = 1
- Black peppercorns = 8
- Dry red chilies = 3 to 4
- Garlic = 4 to 5 cloves
- Onion = 1, chopped
- Ginger = 1/2 inch piece
- Cinnamon stick = 1/2 inch piece
- Garam masala powder = 1 tsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Oil = for frying kebab
- Onion = 2, finely chopped in dice
- Green coriander = 1 tbsp, chopped
- Green chili = 2, finely chopped
Instructions For Making It
Firstly clean and wash the skin or peel of tori well and then transfer them to the pressure cooker.
Then add washed and clean split chickpea, black cardamom, black peppercorns, dry red chilies, garlic, onion, ginger, garam masala powder, cinnamon stick, salt. Mix all the ingredients well and add 1 cup of water in it and cover the lid.
When one whistle comes in it, turn the flame on low to medium and cook it for 10 minutes.
Now open the lid and check whether split chickpea gets tendered or not, if not then add 1/2 cup of water more and then cook it till it completely tenders. Then evaporate all the water of it.
Transfer it to a plate and let it cool for sometime.
Now grind it into a thick binding consistency.
Further transfer it to a mixing bowl and add the other ingredients like chopped onion, green coriander, green chili and mix well.
Now make small balls from the mixture and then slightly press them to shape them in kebab.
Make all the kebab with the similar process and then heat a pan or a griddle.
Now add a tbsp of oil in a pan and add the prepared kebab in it. Fry the kebab till they turn golden in color and then flip them by adding some more oil.
Finally, your tori ke kabab are now ready to serve. Serve them hot with green chutney and onions. Enjoy.
