Potato Souffle Recipe It is such an easy and delicious recipe which you can easily make with cheesy ingredients. Potatoes are really delicious as they are baked the taste gets more yummy. Earlier I thought that it is a hard recipe and takes a lot of efforts in making, but trust me guys, this is really an easy recipe. The buttery taste and the mouth melting cheese, what’s more good than this dish. let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Potato Souffle Recipe
- Potatoes = 4 medium size, boiled
- Parmesan cheese = 1/4 cup, grated
- Mixed Cheddar = 3/4 cup
- Salt = 1/2 tsp or as per taste
- Black pepper powder = 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
- Garlic powder = 3/4 tsp
- Milk = 1/2 cup, at room temperature
- Butter = 3 tbsp, melted
- Fresh coriander/parsley = 3 tbsp, finely chopped
- Eggs = 3
- Butter = 1.5 tbsp for greasing
- Breadcrumbs = 3 tbsp
- Spring onion greens = 2 tbsp, finely chopped, for topping
Instructions For Making It
Wash potatoes well and then transfer them into a pan or pressure cooker for boiling. Add enough water in it for boiling and cover the lid. Place pan on a stove and boil them for about 20 to 25 minutes.
After boiling potatoes, peel them off and transfer them to a mixing bowl and mash them.
Further add grated cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, black pepper powder, garlic powder, salt, red chili powder, melted butter, milk, egg yolks and chopped coriander in mashed potatoes. Mix everything well and even.
Now in other bowl, add egg whites and by using electrical whisker, whisk egg white till it forms a peak and fluffy.
Add this foam egg white into the potato mixture and gently fold or mix it with potatoes.
Pre heat your oven at 220 degree celsius (425 degree F).
Now take ramekins or moulds, grease them with butter and then add bread crumbs in it. Roll the ramekins so that breadcrumbs sticks in it and then tap out the excess breadcrumbs. Grease and coat all the ramekins with the similar process.
Further add this prepared potato mixture to the ramekins and then rub your thumb approximately 1/4-inch space between the ramekins and souffle, so that they will rise straight.
Transfer these dishes to the baking tray and bake them in oven for about 20 minutes.
Once they baked well, remove them from the oven and add some chopped spring onion greens on the top and serve them immediately.
Your delicious potato souffle are now ready to serve. Serve them hot and enjoy.
