Necessary Ingredients Required For Milk Biscuits

  • All purpose flour or maida = 2 cups
  • Semolina or suji = 1/2 cup
  • Sugar = 1 cup
  • Milk = 1 cup
  • sesame seeds = 1 tbsp
  • Ghee or clarified butter = 1/2 cup
  • Oil = for frying biscuits

Instructions For Making It In Simple And Easy Steps

Step 1

Take a blender jar, add sugar in it and make a fine powder from it.

Step 2

Take a mixing bowl, add powdered sugar and milk in it and mix both the ingredients well.

Step 3

Sieve all purpose flour and semolina in a separate bowl and add ghee and sesame seeds in it. Mix all the ingredients well till all things gets mixed evenly.

Step 4

By gradually adding sugar and milk mixture, knead a smooth dough from it. Make sure that the dough must be stiff and smooth.

Step 5

Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Step 6

After 10 minutes, knead the dough again and then divide it into equal portions.

Step 7

Roll it with the help of rolling pin, don’t make it too thin, flatten a thick circular disc from it and by using cookie cutter, make biscuits shape from it.

Step 8

Make all the biscuits with the similar method.

Step 9

Take a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.

Step 10

After heating of oil, add biscuits in it one by one. Don’t overcrowd the pan.

Step 11

Turn the flame medium low and fry them by flipping them so that they cooked from inside also.

Step 12

Fry them till the turn golden brown in color and crispier.

Step 13

Drain the excess oil from it and put them on a kitchen paper to remove excess oil.

Step 14

Fry the remaining biscuits with the similar process and serve them after cooling.

Your milk biscuit are ready to serve. You can also store them  in a airtight container fro about a month and enjoy in your tea time.
