Watermelon Slushie Recipe Summer season is arrived and what is more good than the juicy fresh red watermelons? As we all know that watermelons have a lot of water contain in itself which is good for the body that soothes our skin as well. Doctors also advice to take well quantity of water and nothing is more good than the watermelon in the hot summer. The bright and hot sun in summer and in the itchy afternoon which makes you restless, then this slush of chilled watermelon comes to the rescue. It will surely gives you relax and makes your mind and body cool. So let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Watermelon Slushie
- Watermelon = 500 gm
- Lemon = 1 in no.
- Mint leaves = few leaves
- Sugar = 2 tbsp (optional)
Instructions For Making It
Firstly peel off the lemon and roughly chop it into pieces.
Transfer it to a blender jar and then add few mint leaves and sugar in it. (sugar is optional as it totally depends on the sweetness of your watermelon).
Now blend it into a smooth puree or paste.
Take a bowl and a strainer, strain all the juice of watermelon to the bowl and remove all the seeds from it.
Further squeeze a lemon to the watermelon juice and give it a mix.
Now put this bowl to the freezer and freeze the juice for about 6 to 7 hours or overnight as well.
After 7 hours, take it out from the freezer and start scratching the freeze watermelon by using fork, scratch all the watermelon and then pour this to the serving bowl or glasses.
Add fresh leaves of mint on the top and serve.
Your delicious watermelon slushie is now ready. Serve it chilled and enjoy.
