Vegetable Balls Recipe Today I am sharing a delicious and healthy snacks recipe which is oil free. Yes you read it right, this vegetable balls recipe is something which you can make for kids as well as for those who are really diet conscious as it does not contain oil which may effect health. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Vegetable Balls

  • French beans = 2 small bowl, chopped
  • Carrot = 1 small bowl, grated
  • Kashmiri red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • All purpose flour = 3 tbsp

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

firstly wash the french beans well and then pat dry them. Now finely chop these french beans and transfer them to a mixing bowl.

Step 2

Wash and scratch the carrots and then grate them. Also transfer them to the french beans bowl.

Step 3

Further add all purpose flour, salt and kashmiri red chili powder in it and knead a mixture into a dough like form.

Step 4

Do not add water while kneading it as carrot release its water in which this mixture will gonna be kneaded.

Step 5

Now make small balls from the mixture and make a hole in between balls so that they get steamed well.

Step 6

In a pan, add water and bring it to a boil, put a colander on it, make sure the colander must not be touched by water, grease some oil on the colander (you can also use steamer).

Step 7

Add the prepared balls in the colander and cover it with the other vessel.

Step 8

Steam these balls for about 20 minutes, you can also add green chilies or any other veggies except onion and tomatoes and cabbage as they release a lot of water.

Step 9

After steaming them, take them out and keep them aside.

Now I am going to tell you how to make its chutney

Ingredients For Making Chutney

  • Tomato = 2 large size
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Kashmiri red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Vinegar =1 tbsp
  • Chili flakes = 1/2 tsp
  • Oil = 2 tsp

How To Make Chutney For Vegetable Balls

Step 1

Firstly wash the tomatoes well and roughly chop them. Transfer them to a blender jar and blend them to a fine puree.

Step 2

In a pan, add 2 tsp of oil and heat it up. Then add this puree to the pan and cook for 2 minutes on a high flame.

Step 3

Turn the flame on medium and add kashmiri red chili powder with some salt and cook for a while or till it turns thicken in consistency.

Step 4

Furthermore turn the flame off and add white vinegar and chili flakes in it and mix well.

Your chutney is now ready. Serve vegetable balls with this spicy chutney and enjoy.
