Make restaurant style veg burger at home

Veg burgers are an all time favorite at home. Welcome to the zayka recipe’s kitchen, today I am going to share the recipe of all time favorite veg burger.

Required ingredients for veg burger-

  • Bun = 2
  • Cucumber = 2
  • Cabbage = 5 to 6 leaf
  • Tomato = 2
  • Cheese slice = 2
  • Tomato sauce = as per taste
  • Green coriander chutney = as per taste
  • Chaat Masala powder = 1 teaspoon
  • Onion = 2

For making tikki-

  • Boiled potato =3
  • Peas =1/2 cup (boiled)
  • Bread crumbs = 2 tablespoon
  • Oil =2 to 3 tablespoon
  • Ginger paste =1 small teaspoon
  • Green chili =2 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander powder = 1 small teaspoon
  • Cumin powder = 1 small teaspoon
  • Mango powder =1/4 small teaspoon
  • Salt =as per taste

Method for making veg burger

step 1-

Remove the peel of boiled potato and grate them.

Now mashed all the boiled peas and mix it with the potato.

Step 2-

Add ginger paste, green chili, mango powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and half bread crumbs in the mashed potato and pea’s paste. Mix them together very well.

Step 3-

Switch on the flame and put fry pan on the flame, add 2 to 3 tablespoon of oil in the pan.

Take a portion from the potato mixture and make a round ball from the mixture. Now flatten the ball with the help of your palm by pressing it gently and make tikki from all the potato mixture.

Step 4-

Take one tikki and pour it into bread crumbs so that the bread crumbs stick on the tikki. Take one or two tikki, put it on the pan and let it fry until it changes into golden in color.

Ones it is fried from one side, flip it gently from the other side and fry it.

Step 5-

Now wash all the vegetables cucumber, onion, tomato and chopped them into round slices.

Step 6-

Now take a bun and cut it into two portions.

Grease some oil on the pan and fry the buns from the inner side.

Step 7-

Now take a bottom part of the bun and spread tomato sauce on it.

Put cucumber slices on it and sprinkle chaat Masala on the cucumber slices.

Now put tikki on it and spread green chutney on the tikki. Now put onion slices and spread some more tomato sauce and then add tomato slices.

Then put a leaf of cabbage on the tomato slices and put cheese slice on it.

Step 8-

Sprinkle chaat Masala on the cabbage leaf and now take the other top part of bun and spread green chutney on it and put it on the cabbage leaf.

Your veg burger is ready.

Enjoy it with some extra tomato sauce.
