Tutti Frutti Biscuits (Karachi biscuits) are one of the most famous biscuit in India. If you ever had in Hyderabad then you must know and ate their famous tutti frutti karachi bakery biscuits there. They are sweet and salty in taste and melt in mouth. The taste of these biscuit makes it famous among everyone. So let’s know how to make them at home.
- All purpose flour = 1.5 cup
- Sugar powder = 1 cup
- Butter = 1/2 cup
- Custard powder = 1/2 cup
- Tutti frutti = 1/2 cup
- Cashews = 1/2 cup, finely chopped
- Milk = 2 to 3 tbsp
- Baking powder = 1 tsp
- Rose essence or kevda = 1 tsp
Method of making tutti frutti biscuit
Take a bowl and add all purpose flour, custard powder and baking soda in it. Mix them well.
Now filter it with the help of sieve or chhalni because it will remove the impurities.
Take a deep bowl, add butter and sugar in it. Mix it well by gently stirring it with the help of spatula or spoon.
Now add tutti frutti, chopped cashews and rose essence in the butter mixture. Mix them well.
In a butter mixture, add all purpose flour mixture in it and mix all the things well.
By using milk, make a smooth dough from the mixture.
Now make two long roll from the dough and cover it by rolling foil sheet on it.
Put them in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.
After the mentioned time, take them outside and remove it from the foil.
Now cut them into a thin slices or any other shape as you like.
Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree and put the tutti frutti biscuits on a baking tray.
Bake them for 15 to 20 minutes.
Tutti frutti biscuits are ready.
