In today’s kitchen I am going to share with you everyone’s favorite and loved tomato basil soup. Fresh Tomato Basil Soup are the stars of the classic summer time tomato soup recipe. This soup is very healthy because it contain low-fat milk and light cream cheese which is healthy for us. Today I am going to make easiest tomato basil soup ever and it is so fresh and vibrant. This is very easy to make soup which you can enjoy in your snack time. So lets start the recipe.
Necessary Ingredients We Required
- Tomato = 6 to 8 medium size
- Olive oil =1 tbsp
- Garlic = 1 tbsp, chopped
- Salt = to taste
- Black pepper powder = 1 tsp
- Oregano = 1 tsp
- Red chili flakes = 1 tsp
- Sugar = 1 tsp
- Water = 250 ml, hot
- Basil leaves = 1 tbsp
- Corn starch = 1 tbsp
- Ice cold water = as required
- Fresh cream = 1 tbsp
Method Of Making Tomato Basil Soup
Take tomatoes and make X cut on the back side of the tomatoes.
In a sauce pan add enough water, bring to a boil and turn off the flame. In this boiled water add tomatoes and keep them submerged for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Take out tomatoes and wash them with iced cold water.
Peel off the skin and cut them into small pieces.
In a grinder jar put tomatoes in it and grind it into a fine paste. Strain it and keep it aside.
In a pan, heat olive oil and add garlic, saute it well.
Now pour the tomato paste in the pan, add salt, black pepper, oregano, red chili flakes and sugar. Stir it well and cook for about 5 to 8 minutes.
Add hot water and basil leaves in it and bring it to a boil.
Take a bowl add corn starch and water, make paste of it and add it into the soup.
Cook until soup get thicken.
Now last add fresh cream and stir it well.
Your Soup is now done. Enjoy it hot with bread croutons.
