Sweet Corn Sabzi Recipe This sabzi is amazing in taste as I am going to make it in Indian style with all the Indian spices. This is a perfect recipe for lunch and you can also serve this dish to the parties as it tastes really yummy. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Sweet Corn Sabzi

  • Corn = 2 cup, boiled
  • Oil = 1 tbsp
  • Ghee = 1 tbsp
  • Kashmiri red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder = 1.5 tsp
  • Cumin powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger and garlic paste = 1 tsp
  • Kasuri meti or dry fenugreek leaves = 1 tsp
  • Punjabi garam masala powder = 1 tsp
  • Onion = 2 medium size, chopped
  • Tomato = 4 medium size, chopped
  • Cashews = 15
  • Mixed melon seeds = 1 tbsp
  • Cottage cheese or paneer = 2 tbsp, grated
  • Mawa = 3 tbsp
  • Cheese = 2 tbsp
  • Green coriander = 3 tbsp, chopped
  • Charcoal = 1 piece

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

In a wok, add 1 tbsp of ghee and 1 tbsp of oil. Heat it up and then add chopped onion in it. Saute onion till they turn golden in color and then add ginger and garlic paste in it. Cook them till raw smell of ginger and garlic disappears.

Step 2

Now add chopped tomatoes in it and also add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook these spices well with other ingredients.

Step 3

Now add salt and dry fenugreek leaves in it and mix them well.

Step 4

When tomatoes turns soft and spices gets cooked well, add boiled corns in it with 1 cup of water. Mix them with spices well.

Step 5

Then add cashews and mixed melon seeds paste in it and cook it until a boil. (soak cashews and melon seeds in water and then make a paste of them).

Step 6

Cover the lid of a wok and cook it for 2 minutes on a medium flame.

Step 7

After 2 minutes, open the lid and add grated paneer and mawa in it. Mix well. On the other stove, heat up a charcoal.

Step 8

Take a small bowl or aluminium cup, add charcoal in it and put this bowl on the sabzi, add a tsp of ghee in it and cover the lid. Turn the flame simmer and let it smoke for about 30 seconds.

Step 9

Remove the charcoal and add grated cheese with garam masala powder and chopped coriander.

Finally, your delicious sweet corn sabzi is now ready to serve. Serve it hot with paratha or naan or chapati and enjoy.
