Sweet Bread Balls Recipe This sweet bread balls recipe is not less than any delicious gulab jamun or rasgulla. As this is like by the adults as well as children as well, here is a quick and easy sweet recipe which you can make at home and enjoy like sweet shop sweets. So let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Sweet Bread Balls Recipe
- Bread slice = 10
- Milk = 1 glass
- Sugar = 150 gm
- Desiccated coconut powder = 5 tbsp
- Green food color = few drops
- Red food color = few drops
- Yellow food color = few drops
How To Make It
Firstly take bread slices and cut their edges (brown side). Break the bread slices into small pieces.
Transfer them to a grinder jar and grind them finely.
Take a pan, put it on a flame and add milk in it, cook the milk on medium flame till it takes a boil in it.
Turn the flame on slow and then gradually add grind bread in it and mix well.
Make sure your are continuously stirring it otherwise it will burn.
Now cook it for 2 or more minutes till bread becomes dry and absorb all the milk in it.
Add 2 tbsp of desiccated coconut powder and mix well with bread mixture. (this is totally optional, if you don’t want to add it then skip this step).
Now add 1/4 tsp of ghee in the bread mixture to give it a nice shine.
After adding ghee in it, it will become even and leaves the pan easily. Take it out from the pan and keep aside.
For Sugar Syrup
In a pan, add sugar and 300 ml of water in it and cook it till sugar completely melts in water.
Add green cardamom powder in it and mix well.
Continue to stir it and cook for 2 minutes. Turn the flame off.
Divide this syrup into 3 bowls and then add green food color in a bowl, yellow in other and red in another bowl. Mix well.
Making Of Balls
Take a little portion from the bread mixture, roll it in your palms and make a smooth small ball of it.
Simultaneously add the prepared balls equally in the color sugar syrup. Soak the for about 15 minutes so that balls absorbs syrup well.
In a separate bowl, add remaining desiccated coconut powder.
Take a ball from the syrup and add it to the desiccated coconut powder, roll it in powder and coat it from all the sides.
Finally, transfer them to a serving plate and serve. Enjoy.
- you can use the remaining sugar syrup by freezing them into ice cubes and then crush them and make barf ka gola of it. They taste really delicious.
