Suji Malpua Recipe | Semolina Malpua | How To Make Malpua

Suji Malpua Recipe Today I am going to make a delicious recipe of Suji Malpua which is very quick and easy to the usual malpua recipe. Also you can easily make it within a very less time, this does not need musch ingredients and efforts as well. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Suji Malpua Recipe

  • Fine semolina = 1 cup
  • Milk cream = 1 cup
  • Milk = as required
  • Crushed fennel seeds = 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder = a pinch
  • Green cardamom powder = 1/4 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder = a pinch
  • Baking powder = 1/4 tsp
  • Powdered sugar = 1/2 cup

For Garnishing

  • Pistachios = chopped
  • Almonds = chopped

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly, take a mixing bowl and add fine semolina in it. Then add cream, fennel seeds, green cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, baking soda and powdered sugar.

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients well and gradually add 3/4 milk in it and make a thick batter from the mixture. Do not make it too thick nor too thin.

Step 3

If the batter will too thick then it will become raw from inside or if turn too thin then it will not be in shape.

Step 4

Cover the batter and let it rest for about 1 hour. (we have used fine semolina so this will not take much time in rising)

Step 5

Take a pan, add sugar and water in it for making sugar syrup. Let the sugar melts completely and then cook it for 4 to 5 minutes more. When it forms 1 string in it, then turn the flame off and keep it aside.

Step 6

Take a separate pan or a wok, add oil in it and heat it up. Then drop this batter to the hot oil using ladle and let it cook till turns golden in color. Flip it and fry it from the other side as well. You have to keep the flame on low to medium while frying them.

Step 7

Now take it out from the oil and add it to the sugar syrup and soak it for about 3 to 4 minutes till it absorbs sugar completely.

Step 8

Make all the malpua with the similar process and then take them out in a plate. Late add more sugar syrup on the top and garnish it with some chopped almonds and pistachios.

Finally, your delicious suji malpua is now ready to serve. Serve them and enjoy.
