Stuffed Lemon Pickle Recipe Today I am going to share a delicious recipe of lemon pickle but this pickle recipe is different as I am going to make stuffed pickle. This will hot you with a different taste. As some people complain that their pickle turns bitter in taste so today the process which I am going to share to make this recipe is sweet, spicy and sour in taste. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Stuffed Lemon Pickle

  • Lemon = 20
  • Black peppercorns = 20 gm
  • Dry ginger powder = 20 gm
  • Mace = 5 gm
  • Nutmeg = 2 gm
  • Cinnamon stick = 1 inch piece
  • Green cardamom = 20 gm
  • Black cumin seeds = 5 gm
  • White cumin seeds = 5 gm
  • Carom seeds = 10 gm
  • Salt = 1 tbsp
  • Black salt = 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice = 10 lemon’s juice

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Wash lemons well and pat dry them. Further make a x slit in lemons and make sure they must joint from the bottom.

Step 2

Keep the lemons aside. Now in a pan, add black peppercorns, nutmeg, mace, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, white cumin seeds, black cumin seeds. Dry roast all the spices till they turn aromatic. Then turn the flame on low and add dry ginger powder in it and mix well for 5 to 7 seconds. Turn the flame off and keep these spices aside for cooling.

Step 3

After cooling of spices add them to the grinder jar and grind them finely into a powder form. Transfer them to a bowl and add salt, carom seeds and black salt, sugar. Mix well.

Step 4

Now add this prepared masala to the slit lemons.

Step 5

Add them to the glass jar and then place this jar in sunlight for 15 to 18 days.

Finally, after the mentioned time, your stuffed lemon pickle is ready. Serve it with meal and enjoy.
