Hey guys!! Today I am going to share a recipe of gulab jamun but with a twist, the gulab jamun recipe which I am going to make is made by semolina (suji). They are very tasty and delicious and the best thing is that you don’t need to go anywhere to buy the ingredients for the gulab jamun. All the necessary ingredients are easily available at your kitchen.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Suji Gulab Jamun
- Fine semolina (suji) = 1 cup
- Sugar = 2 cup
- Milk = 2 cup
- Pure ghee = 1 tablespoon
- Water = as required
- Green cardamom = 1
- Ghee or oil = for frying
Method Of Making
Measure all the ingredients with the same cup.
Mix the 3 tablespoon sugar in the milk.
Take a vessel and add 1 cup sugar and 1 ½ cup of water in it and make sugar syrup from it by heating it.
You don’t have make sugar syrup thicker.
Add 1 crushed green cardamom in the sugar syrup and let it cook for 7 to 8 minutes.
Take a fry pan, add semolina (suji) in it and roast it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame.
Now add milk and sugar mixture into the fry pan in semolina and mix them well.
Cook it on the low to medium flame by continuously stirring it until the milk gets absorbed by the semolina (suji).
It will take 8 to 10 minutes.
Now when semolina gets thicker in consistency then switch off the flame and shift the semolina into a bowl.
Now add pure ghee in the gulab jamun batter and need it into a smooth dough.
Ones it get smooth, take little portions from the dough and make small balls from the portions. You can also all dry fruits in between the gulab jamun balls if you like.
You can also make it in an oval shape.
Now our gulab jamun balls are ready.
Take a deep fry pan, add oil or ghee in it for frying. Ones the oil gets ready for frying, add gulab jamun balls in it and fry them from both the sides until the color of the balls gets turn into golden.
Now our gulab jamun is ready. Add the gulab jamun into the sugar syrup and let them cook for 5 to 6 minutes so that they become soft and the sugar syrup gets thicken.
Enjoy your gulab jamun hot or you can also store it into a refrigerator for cooling.
