You don’t need to worry about hearing seven layered, it maybe sound difficult but trust me it isn’t. This is a quick and easy recipe as you just need to roll the paratha into flatten shape, that’s all you need to do. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Satpura Paratha

  • Wheat = 2 cups
  • Salt = as per taste, for kneading the dough
  • Water = for kneading the dough
  • Oil = 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Salt = 1/2 tsp
  • Pure ghee = for roasting paratha

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly take a mixing bowl, add flour in it with some salt and mix them well. Further gradually add water in it and knead a smooth and semi soft dough from the flour. Keep it aside for 10 minutes by covering it with wet cloth.

Step 2

Now in a small bowl, add 2 tbsp of oil and then add some salt and red chili powder in it, mix them well and keep it aside.

Step 3

After 10 minutes, divide the dough into portions and make round balls from them. Flatten them by using rolling pin and dust some flour on the surface so that it should not stick.

Step 4

Apply the prepared oil chili and salt mixture on the flatten dough and keep it aside. Now again flatten another dough ball like paratha and put it on a greased paratha. Again apply the mixture and put the other paratha on it. Do this process till 7 layers are completed  of the paratha.
