Sandwich Chutney or Green Chutney recipe

Sandwich chutney or green chutney is very necessary in making sandwiches or you can also have it with pakoras or fritters. Whether you are looking to make green chutney or sandwich chutney to dip on dishes like samosa, to eat along with roti or biryani or any other dish whichever you want, so here I am sharing the most demanded recipe of green chutney. You can also store it for later use as you can keep it in a refrigerator for many days.

Required Ingredients for sandwich chutney-

  • Mint leaves = 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves = 1 bunch
  • Garlic = 4 small
  • Salt = 1/2 tsp or as per taste
  • Sugar = 1/4 tsp (optional)
  • Water = 1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds = 1/3 tsp
  • Lemon juice = 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies = 4

Method of making in easy steps-

Step 1

Clean the coriander and mint leaves by removing grass or any unnecessary trash or weeds.

Step 2

Wash it with clean water and strain them.

Step 3

Take a blender jar, add mint and coriander leaves in it.

Step 4

Along with the mint and coriander, add cumin seeds, garlic, lemon juice, salt and sugar.

Step 5

Blend it into a smooth paste.

Your sandwich or green chutney is ready.

You can store it for 15 to 20 days in a glass container.
