Rice Pakora You have tried a lot of pakora recipe, but have you ever tried boiled or leftover rice pakora? This recipe of pakora is really tasty and crispy. Most the times we have rice which are left after eating. So don’t worry about that, make pakora from it in a tea time and enjoy it. The process of making is really easy and quick, we don’t have to do anything, just take boiled rice, add basic spices of pakora in it and also add besan. Mix all the things well and add a splash of water. Here you are good to go. They are so yummy in taste and have its own flavor. Crispy and tasty rice pakora, know how to make them.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Rice Pakora
- Boiled rice = 1 cup, Freshly cooked or leftover
- Onion = 1, small size, finely chopped
- Green chilies = 2, finely chopped
- Coriander leaves = 1 tbsp, chopped
- Coriander seeds = 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds = 1/2 tsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder = 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala powder = 1/4 tsp
- Ajwain or carom seeds = 1/4 tsp
- Gram flour or besan = 4 to 5 tbsp
- Water = as needed
- Oil = for deep frying
How To Make It In Easy Steps
Take a bowl, add rice in it.
Now add chopped green chilies, onions, turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, coriander, garam masala powder, ajwain, gram flour and coriander seeds, cumin seeds.
Mix all the ingredients well with spoon or hands.
Now gradually add water and mix it well.
Do not make the batter too thin.
Take a pan, pour oil in it and heat it up.
After heating up of oil, add a small ball portion of mixture in it.
Add more pakora in it but do not over crowd in a pan.
Turn the flame on medium and let them cook.
Flip them occasionally and cook them till they turn into golden brown in color.
Drain the excess oil and put them in a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Do this same process for making second batch of pakora.
Your rice pakora are ready to serve. Serve them hot by sprinkle some chaat masala on it and with tomato sauce.
