Potato Pancake Recipe Pancakes are a good option for breakfast and today I am going to share a delicious and easy recipe of making pancakes which are quick and tasty too. No lot of preparation required and no tricky ingredients as well. So if you also like to have a healthy beakfast or to give it to your family, then this is a good option for you. Necessary Ingredients Required For Potato Pancake Recipe
- Potato = 4 to 5
- Onion = 1
- Egg = 1
- All purpose flour = 40 gm
- Salt = as per taste
- Oil = 2 tbsp
Instructions For Making It
Peel off the potatoes and wash them well. Then grate them and add them to the cold water and wash them again. Add them to the strainer so that all the excess water gets removed from it.
Now peel off the skin of onion and finely chop them into semi circle slices.
Take a mixing bowl and add chopped onion in it, also add grated potatoes in it when all the water gets drain out from them.
Add salt in it and mix both the ingredients well.
Further add an egg in it and mix it well with both the ingredients.
Later all all purpose flour in it and make a thick batter from the mixture.
Take a pan, add oil in it and heat it up. Then take a ladle, add some mixture in it and pour it to the pan. Spread it in a circular motion and fry it till it turn golden in color. You can add 3 to 4 pancakes at a time if your pan is large in size.
When they cooked well from the bottom, add some more oil and flip them. Cook them from the other side as well till they turn golden. Make sure you have to cook them on a medium flame.
After frying them, add them to the serving plate and make all the pancakes with the similar process. Finally, your delicious potato pancakes are now ready to serve. Serve them hot in breakfast with mayonnaise or dip and enjoy.
