Ingredients Required For Pineapple Upside Down Cake
- Pineapple juice = 1 cup
- Pineapple slices = 8 to 10
- Brown sugar = 3/4 cup
- Red cherries = 10 to 12
- Sugar = 1/2 cup
- Plain flour/fine flour/ maida = 2 cups
- Baking powder = 2 tsp
- Butter = 4 tbsp
- Condensed milk = 250 gm
- Milk = 1 cup
- Vinegar = 2 tsp
- Vanilla essence = 2 tsp
- Oil = 1/4 cup
Instructions For Making This Cake
Firstly, take a pan, add brown sugar, butter and 1/2 cup of water. Now cook it till butter is melted. Then turn the flame low and cook it till it thickens or start bubbling.
Take a cake tin and add the brown sugar topping in tin and let it cool for few minutes.
After it stops bubbling, place pineapple slices in it.
Inside the rings of pineapple, add cherries between the holes or rings.
Making Of Cake
Pre heat the oven at 180 degree celsius for 20 minutes.
Take a mixing bowl, add sieved plain flour, baking powder and sugar. Mix all ingredients evenly.
In another pan, heat it up and add butter or oil, then add condensed milk in it and whisk it till it becomes smooth or light.
In another jar, add milk and pineapple juice and vinegar. Give it a nice mix and keep it aside for 5 to 8 minutes.
Add half of this milk mixture into the condensed milk mixture and mix well.
Then add dry mixture in a condensed milk and milk and vinegar bowl and mix well.
Finally add the remaining liquid milk mixture in the batter and also add vanilla essence in it. Give it a nice stir till it becomes a smooth batter or mixture.
Now transfer this batter into the topping tin and even it by using spatula.
Bake it for 30 minutes at 180 degree celsius.
Finally, your cake is now ready now transfer it to a plate by upside down and slice it. Enjoy your cake.
