Paneer Pakora Recipe | How to Make Paneer Pakora

Paneer pakora or paneer pakoda recipe- This is a tea time snack for the foodies one. Whenever you are in a mood to eat something delicious yet lip smacking and also want that it does not take a lot of time then you must make paneer pakora for your tea time snacks. In rainy season, the taste of this pakora is at another level because most of the people like to eat pakora or fritters at that time. Also in winters it does a great job in a cold evening. Me and my family loves to eat pakora but paneer pakora is one of my favorite pakora recipe. So today I am sharing my paneer pakora recipe with you. Necessary Ingredients Required For Paneer Pakora

  • Gram flour = 1 cup
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer = 200 gm
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Turmeric = 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds = 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander seeds = 1/2 tsp
  • Corn flour or rice flour = 2 tbsp
  • Oil = for frying
  • Water = as required

How to make

Step 1

Take a bowl, add gram flour in it and also add dry ingredients like red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, cumin seeds, coriander seeds and corn flour. Mix all the ingredients well.

Step 2

Now gradually add water for making batter.

Step 3

Mix it well to make a smooth consistency batter. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Now after 10 minutes, add cottage cheese and dip the pieces of cottage cheese for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Take a deep pan, pour oil in it and heat it up.

Step 6

Now add frequently paneer pieces one by one and fry them on a medium high flame until it changes golden in color.

Step 7

Flip them all over to fry them.

Your paneer pakora are ready to serve. Serve them hot by sprinkle some chaat masala and with red sauce.

Tips-

  • We have added coriander seeds because it makes the pakora more tastier.
  • You can also use rice flour if you do not have corn flour.
  • Sprinkle some chaat masala makes it more tastier.
