Palak paneer recipe needs no introduction as it is already highly popular among Indians. This is made by spinach and cottage cheese which is rich in its creamy flavor and taste. I have made this dish with the minimum ingredients because it will taste good as it is made. Somehow it is one of my favorite dish in Indian recipes because it takes very less time and less efforts to make. As we all know that most of the kids do not eat leafy vegetables and mostly spinach. Then you can give them it in this way.

How to make it
Wash and rinse spinach for 3 to 4 times and roughly chopped. I am using only its leaves.
Take a pan, pour water in it and add chopped spinach and salt. Let it boil for 2 minutes.
Do not overcook it as the color of spinach start changing.
Now drain the excess water from spinach and wash it with cold water.
After cooling of spinach, take a blender jar, add spinach, ginger and green chilies in it and blend it into a smooth paste by using 1/4 cup of water. Keep this aside.
Now take a pan, heat it up by adding oil in it. Turn the flame low and fry paneer until golden spots appear.
Now soak them in a warm water for 10 minutes.
Now add some more oil in it, add chopped onions and fry it until it turns golden brown in color.
Add chopped garlic in it and saute it for few seconds.
Now add spinach paste in it. Also add garam masala powder and salt. Mix all the ingredients well.
Add 1/3 cup of water in it and mix it well.
After 5 minutes, add fried paneer cubes in it and mix it well. Add lemon juice in it and turn the flame off.
Pour this in a serving bowl and add fresh cream in it.
Your palak paneer is ready to serve. Serve it hot with paratha, puri, chapati or rice.
