Palak Pakora Recipe This Ramadan make crispy and delicious palak pakora which are really tasty and the best thing is the process of making this pakora is very easy. If you want to serve something crispy and delicious at evening tea, then this simple pakora of spinach goes perfect. The fresh green leaf of spinach when deep fried with batter, turn into a wonderful fritter. All you need to make this pakora are large size of spinach leaf, garm flour and some other basic ingredients. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Palak Pakora

  • Spinach leaves = 10 to 12
  • Gram flour = 3/4 cup
  • Rice flour = 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds = 1/4 tsp
  • Carom seeds = 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder  1/4 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Baking soda = a pinch
  • Water = as required for batter
  • Oil = for deep frying

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly sieve gram flour and rice flour in a mixing bowl.

Step 2

Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, cumin seeds, carom seeds, baking soda. Mix all the dry ingredients well.

Step 3

Gradually add water in it and mix well. Make a lump free batter from the mixture.

Step 4

Batter must not be too thick nor in running consistency.

Step 5

Wash and clean spinach well.

Step 6

Remove the stem of the spinach as we only need its leafy part.

Step 7

Take a wok or a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.

Step 8

Dip a leaf of spinach into the batter and coat it well.

Step 9

Add it to the hot oil and turn the flame on medium, fry them till they turn golden in color and crisp.

Step 10

Flip the in between as spinach gets burn faster. Finally, shake off the excess oil and transfer them to the serving plate.

Your delicious crispy palak pakora are now ready to serve. Serve them hot with sauce or green chutney with tea and enjoy.
