No Onion No Garlic Paneer Butter Masala Recipe This recipe is for those who are not using onion and garlic in their dishes yet wanted to make a rich and creamy puree. So here I am sharing a recipe of no onion no garlic paneer butter masala which is really really amazing in taste and its flavors comes out to be so good. Some people thought that they cannot make their gravy without using onion, but that’s not true. You can easily make a delicious recipe even without o=adding onion and garlic. So let’s know how to make it.

Ingredients For No Onion No Garlic Paneer Butter Masala

For Paste

  • Tomatoes = 2 cups, chopped
  • Cashews = 20, soaked

Whole Spices

  • Green cardamom = 2 pods
  • Bay leaf = 2
  • Cinnamon stick = 1 inch piece
  • Cloves = 4

Other Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese = 250 gm
  • Butter = 3 tbsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Kashmiri red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Ginger paste = 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Cream = 2 tbsp
  • Sugar = 1/4 tsp (optional)
  • Coriander/parsley/cilantro = 2 tbsp, chopped

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly, soak cashews in a lukewarm water for about 15 minutes.

Step 2

After 15 minutes, put them to a blender jar by draining off its water and blend into a smooth and fine paste. Keep aside.

Step 3

Wash tomatoes thoroughly and chop them roughly. Add them to the same blender and blend into a fine puree. Keep aside.

Step 4

In a wok, add butter and let it melt. Then add whole spices like green cardamom pods, bay leaf, cloves and cinnamon stick. let them splutter for a while and then add ginger paste in it. Saute till raw smell disappears.

Step 5

Further add pureed tomato in it and saute for 2 minutes.

Step 6

Now add kashmiri red chili powder and saute it till curry leaves butter from it.

Step 7

Put the flame on low and then add sugar (if necessary as it depends on the sourness of tomatoes). Cook for a while.

Step 8

Once the gravy start oozes oil from it and start thickens, then add paneer cubes in it and then add garam masala powder, salt. Give it a nice stir.

Step 9

Furthermore, add cream in it and mix well on a low flame.

Step 10

Finally, add some chopped coriander and transfer them to a serving bowl.

Your delicious no onion no garlic paneer butter masala is now ready. Serve it hot with naan or rice and enjoy.
