Navratan Chutney Recipe Hey readers!!! Here I am sharing an amazing chutney of raw mango and some nuts which is really really delicious and perfect for the meal and you can also give this to your kids with paratha and make roll of paratha by spreading this chutney and see that your kids lunch box will be empty for sure. All you need for this chutney is raw mango, jaggery and some nuts which are easily available in your kitchen. So let’s know how to make this yummy finger licking chutney.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Navratan Chutney

  • Raw mango =250 gm
  • Jaggery (gur) = 250 gm, finely crushed
  • Almonds = 5, finely chopped
  • Pistachios = 5, finely chopped
  • Raisins = 5
  • Melon seeds = 1 tsp
  • Dry dates = 3, finely chopped
  • Red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Ginger = 1 inch piece, grated

Process Of Making This Chutney

Step 1

Firstly, wash raw mangoes and peel them off.

Step 2

Remove the seeds of mangoes and then grate them well.

Step 3

In a pan, add 2 cups of water and grated mango in it and cook it on a medium flame for 10 to 15 minutes or till mango gets tendered by covering the lid.

Step 4

After 15 minutes, turn the flame off and strain water from it.

Step 5

Now in a pan, add mango, jaggery, melon seeds, dry dates, almonds, pistachios, raisins, ginger, red chili powder and salt. Put it on a medium flame and cook it till jaggery completely melts and everything gets mixed evenly.

Step 6

After melting of jaggery, turn the flame low and cook it till the consistency of the mixture turns thick. Make sure that you continuously stirring it otherwise it will start burning.

Step 7

Once mixture gets thick, turn the flame off and keep it aside for cooling.

Your navratan chutney is now ready. Serve it with meal or snack and enjoy.
