Mug Cake Recipe Hey foodies!!! Here I am sharing a delicious, quick and easy mug cake which I am going to bake in pressure cooker and guess what, it exactly tastes same as baked in oven one. We all like cakes right, this chocolate mug cake in which I am adding a lot of chocolate chips gives this cake a good taste. The perfect soft and spongy cake is what we want to bake. So here I am sharing its recipe in simple steps so that you can follow each and every step carefully and bake a perfect cake for yourself. Let’s know what we need for this cake.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Mug Cake Recipe
- All purpose flour (maida) = 5 tbsp
- Cocoa powder = 3 tbsp
- Sugar = 2 tbsp
- Baking soda = 1/4 tsp
- Milk = 1/4 cup
- Oil = 2 tbsp
- Vanilla essence = 1/2 tsp
- Salt = a pinch
- Choco chips = 2 tbsp
- Salt = 2 cups
Instructions For Making It
Firstly for baking this cake in pressure cooker, add sand or salt in pressure cooker and put it on a flame for pre heating. Cover the lid of cooker, remove the whistle and heat it on a medium flame for 5 to 10 minutes.
For making cake, take a mug, add all purpose flour and cocoa powder. Mix well.
Then add sugar, baking soda and a pinch of salt in it and mix all the ingredients well. Make sure everything gets combine well and even.
Further add milk, oil and vanilla extract in it and mix well to make a smooth and lumps free batter from the mixture.
You can also add more milk if required.
Once you are done by mixing all the ingredients, add some choco chips in it and give it a nice mix. Also add some on top for garnishing as well.
Place this mug in a preheated pressure cooker and cover the lid for baking. Bake it for 5 to 8 minutes on a high flame or you can also check by pricking a toothpick in it. If it comes clean then your cake is ready otherwise bake it for 4 to 5 minutes more.
