Matar Paneer Bhurji Recipe This matar paneer recipe is very easy, quick and delicious in taste. You can give this bhurji to your kids for lunch as it is healthy and delicious too. This is to consider as a lip smacking recipe and when you try this at your homes yo will also going to love this. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Matar Paneer Bhurji

  • Cottage cheese (paneer) = 100 gm
  • Peas = 5 tbsp, boiled
  • Onion = 1, chopped, roughly chopped
  • Tomato = 2, medium size,  roughly chopped
  • Green chilies = 1, chopped
  • Ginger = 1 inch piece, roughly chopped
  • Garlic = 5 cloves
  • Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Turmeric powder = less than 1/2
  • Dry fenugreek (kasuri methi) = 1 tsp
  • Vegetable king masala or maggi masala= 1 tsp

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly, for making this delicious paneer, take a pan, add 1/2 glass of water in it and bring it to a boil. After boiling of water, add chopped onion, tomatoes, green chilies, ginger and garlic in it.

Step 2

Boil all the vegetables for 5 minutes or till the skin of tomato becomes loose.

Step 3

Turn the flame off, strain all the water from it and after cooling, blend it to make a smooth paste from it.

Step 4

After blending it, sieve it in a separate bowl so that any lumps does not appears in the paste.

Step 5

Now take a wok, add oil in it and heat it up. After heating of oil, add boiled peas in it.

Step 6

Further add,turmeric powder, vegetable masala powder, dry fenugreek, red chili powder and salt. Mix all the spices well for 30 seconds.

Step 7

Further add the prepared paste into the wok and cook it for 2 minutes.

Step 8

Now add grated paneer in it. Mix well and then cover it. Cook it on a low flame for 5 minutes.

Finally, your matar paneer bhurji is now ready to serve. Garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves and enjoy. Serve it with chapati or paratha and enjoy.
