Masala Popcorn Recipe Popcorn is something which everyone likes to have as a snack. This is a flavorful spicy popcorn to munch which is made by using some basic spice powders which aare easily available at home. This is a quick and easy recipe so that you can easily make it by just before watching movies or for a snack too. So let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Masala Popcorn
- Popcorn kernels = 1/2 cup
- Oil = 2 tbsp
- Chaat masala powder = 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder = 1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder = 1 tsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Dried mint leaves = 1/2 tsp (optional)
Instructions For Making It
Firstly, take a pan or wok or pressure cooker, add oil in it and heat it up.
Then add popcorn kernels in it and coat oil on the well and even. Then spread them into the into a layer so that they pop even and well.
Cover the lid and let them pop completely on a medium to low flame.
Let the steam release itself after switching off the flame.
Transfer them to a bowl for cooling.
In a separate bowl, add chaat masala powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, dried mint leaves and salt. Mix them well and even by adding a dash of oil in it to make a paste like form.
Now add popcorn in it and mix masala with popcorn well. Make sure masala will be coated well and even.
Finally, your delicious and spicy masala popcorn are now ready to serve. Serve them and enjoy.
