Masala Peanut Recipe | Easy Tea Time Snack Recipe

Masala peanut recipe- Hey everyone!! I hope you all are doing well. Today I am going to make masala peanut for the tea time. You can easily make these masala peanuts at your home and believe me that these peanuts are much better than the ready made ones. Ones you make them at home then I am pretty sure that you never buy them again from the market or packed one. The process to make these peanuts are not a rocket science. Hence, you can easily make this at home. Kids always wants something to eat with tea or at a tea time, so here I am sharing this tea time snack recipe of peanuts which is made with gram flour. Rice flour makes it crispier. Let’s know the easy process to make it at home.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Masala Peanut

  • Gram flour = 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour = 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour = 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric = a pinch
  • Chaat masala = 1/4 tsp
  • Baking soda = 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice = 1/2 tbsp
  • Red Chili powder = 1/4 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Asafoetida = 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger and garlic paste = 1/2 tsp
  • Oil = 1 tbsp
  • Peanuts = 1 cup
  • Oil for deep fry
  • Cumin powder = 1/4 tsp

How To Make It In Easy Steps

Step 1

Take a bowl, pour gram flour, rice flour and corn flour in it. Dry mix them.

Step 2

Now add turmeric powder, ginger and garlic paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, salt, asafoetida and baking powder. Mix them with all ingredients.

Step 3

Now also add oil, lemon juice and peanuts in a bowl and mix them well. Gradually add water (2 tbsp) and mix them well.

Step 4

Sprinkle one more tbsp of corn flour and mix it. Keep it aside for 20 minutes.

Step 5

Now in a deep pan, pour oil and heat it up.

Step 6

Add coated peanuts with the help of your hands and fry them on a medium high flame.

Step 7

Fry the peanuts until they get crispier or turn in golden brown in color.

Keep them in a plate and sprinkle some chaat masala on it, Mix it well and serve it with tea or cold drinks.

You can also store this masala peanuts in an airtight container for about a month.
