Necessary Ingredients Required For Masala Besan Doodh

  • Ghee = 2 tbsp
  • Milk = 1 litre
  • Gram flour = 4 tbsp
  • Cinnamon stick = 1 inch piece
  • Turmeric powder = 1 tsp
  • Sugar = 4 tbsp
  • Cashews = 1 tbsp, chopped
  • Almonds = 1 tbsp, chopped
  • Green cardamom powder = 1/4 tsp

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

In a wok, add ghee and let it melt for few seconds.

Step 2

Ones ghee starts melting, add gram flour in it and roast it well.

Step 3

Continue to roast the gram flour for 4 to 5 minutes and then add turmeric powder, cinnamon stick and mix well.

Step 4

Now gradually add milk in it. Add milk in 3 to 4 portions so that lumps does not build up in it. Stir it well to get a nice mixture in it.

Step 5

Ones milk gets thick and boiled then turn the flame low and all the chopped dry fruits. Mix well.

Step 6

Add sugar in it for the sweetness. You can also use jaggery (gur) instead of sugar and mix well till sugar completely dissolves in it.

Step 7

Finally add cardamom powder in it and give it a nice mix.

Step 8

Now transfer the prepared milk into glasses and serve it hot.

Your delicious healthy masala besan doodh is now ready to serve. Serve it hot in cold winters and enjoy.
