Mango Custard Recipe Mangoes are in season right now, so I thought of sharing a delicious recipe of mango which is mango custard. This dessert recipe is super delicious and easy. You do not need much efforts and ingredients to make it. All you need is milk, custard powder, mango and sugar. The sweetness of mango and the creamy texture of custard makes this dessert rich in flavor. So let’s know how to make this super yummy yet delicious dessert.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Mango Custard
- Milk = 2 cups
- Custard powder = 4 tbsp
- Mango pulp = 1/2 cup
- Sugar = 1/4 cup
- Mango cubes = 8 to 10
- Pomegranate seeds = for garnishing
Instructions For Making It
Firstly in 1/4 cup of milk, add custard powder and mix well to make it a lump free mixture. Keep it aside.
Now take a pan, add milk in it and bring it to a boil while continuously stirring it.
Make sure milk must not burn.
Now gradually add the prepared custard and and milk mixture in the milk and mix well so that lumps do not form in it.
Further add sugar in it and cook till sugar completely melts. Boil for 4 to 5 minutes more on a medium to low flame so that custard becomes thick.
Turn the flame off and keep the pan aside for cooling.
Till then make pulp of mangoes by grinding them into a jar and make a smooth paste of mangoes.
When the custard mixture turns cool, add mango pulp in it and whisk it well so that they combined well.
Finally, put it to a refrigerator for cooling and once it cools, add chopped cubes of mango and some pomegranate seeds.
Your delicious mango custard is now ready. Serve it chilled and enjoy.
