Leftover Roti Snacks Recipe We all have the time when there are leftover roti in the kitchen and most of us do not like to eat them. So unlike wasting them, here I am sharing a unique and delicious recipe of snacks which is made with basi roti and all the people of your houses will have it and enjoying it. You can make it at the time of evening snacks and see how your house members will enjoying it. So let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Leftover Roti Snacks
- Leftover roti = 2
- Gram flour = 1 cup
- Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder = 3 pinch
- Coriander powder = 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida = a pinch
- Carom seeds = 1/2 tsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Green coriander = 2 tbsp, finely chopped
- Oil = for frying
Instructions For Making It
Firstly, cut the roti into 4 pieces and keep these pieces aside.
Now in a mixing bowl, add gram flour and add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, carom seeds, asafoetida and coriander powder. Mix all these dry ingredients well.
Further add chopped coriander in it and mix it well. Gradually add water in it and make a smooth lumps free batter from the mixture.
Batter must not be too thick nor too runny in consistency.
In a pan, add oil and heat it up. After heating up of oil, dip a piece of roti in prepared batter and coat it well with batter.
Add it to the hot oil and fry them till they turn golden in color from both the sides and a beautiful crunchiness appears on them.
Flip them in between so that they must not burn. After frying the, shake off the excess oil and transfer to the absorbent paper.
Finally, your delicious leftover roti snacks is now ready to serve. Serve them hot with chutney or sauces and enjoy.
