Khajur Pak Recipe | Delicious And Healthy Khajoor Pak

Khajur Pak Recipe As we all know that date is very beneficial to health and has many nutritional values. I am making khajur pak by using dates. They are delicious and healthy too as it does not include any sweetener except dates. So let’s know how too make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Khajur Pak

  • Evaporated Milk solids (khoa/mawa) = 100 gm
  • Dates (khajur) = 1 cup, seedless
  • Cashews = 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Almonds = 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Raisins = 1/4 cup
  • Walnuts = 1/2 cup
  • Pumpkin seeds = 3 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds = 1 tbsp
  • Green cardamom powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Dry coconut = 1/4 cup, grated
  • Ghee = 1 tbsp

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly in a pan, add ghee and heat it up. Then add chopped almonds, cashews, walnuts and raisins and roast them till they turn golden and aromatic. Keep roasting them on a medium to low flame.

Step 2

Now add pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds and roast them well.

Step 3

Further add grated coconut and roast.

Step 4

In a blender jar, add seedless dates and blend. Pulse and blend at intervals to prevent stickiness in mixer.

Step 5

Add this paste in nuts and roast it well with nuts and make sure it combines well.

Step 6

Continue to roast it till dates gets well combined and even with nuts.

Step 7

Then add khoa in it and mix till it takes a binding consistency. Mix it evenly with other ingredients.

Step 8

Also add green cardamom powder and mix well. Turn the flame off.

Step 9

Take a tray and grease it with ghee or line it with butter paper. Pour the mixture in tray and spread it evenly. Keep it aside for an hour.

Step 10

Now take it out and cut it into pieces.

Finally, your delicious, healthy khajur pak is ready. Serve it or you can store it in a jar in refrigerator for about a week and enjoy whenever you want.
