Khajoor Chutney Recipe Hey guys!!! Today I am sharing a delicious recipe of khajoor. Have you tried its chutney yet? If no, then you must have to try this chutney at ones and believe me the taste of this chutney is delicious. Sweet and sour taste of this chutney makes it multitasker as it goes with snacks as well as with Indian food also. So let’s know how to make this delicious chutney at home with the use of all easy ingredients.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Khajoor Chutney

  • Date palms (khajur) = 15
  • Sugar = 100 gm
  • Raisins = 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Dry mango powder (amchur) = 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder = 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida (hing) = a pinch
  • Ginger paste = 2 tsp
  • Black salt = 3/4 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly, remove the seeds from the date palms and chop them finely.

Step 2

Now make sugar syrup, take a pan, add sugar and half cup of water in it and put it on a flame. Stir it till sugar melts completely in it.

Step 3

Once sugar dissolves in water, turn the flame off.

Step 4

Now add raisins, chopped date palms, garam masala powder,ginger paste, red chili powder, black salt, cumin powder, asafoetida, salt, dry mango powder in sugar syrup and mix all things well.

Step 5

Put it on a flame and now cook it till it turn thick in consistency.

Step 6

Once it cooks and thickens in consistency, turn the flame off and keep it aside for cooling.

Finally, serve this delicious khajoor chutney is now ready to serve. Serve it with paratha or any other side dish.
