Kesar pista kulfi is one of my favorite kulfi which I have never missed to eat. The taste of this kesar pista kulfi is something which makes me more craving for this. Usually I always make this at home, so I thought that I should share my pista kulfi recipe with you. The best part is that it does not contain much ingredients to making it. Necessary ingredients required for making kesar pista kulfi-
- Milk = 2 liter
- Sugar = 4 to 5 tbsp
- Green cardamom powder = 1/2 tsp
- Pistachio = 5 tbsp, finely chopped
- Saffron = 1/2 tsp
How to make it at home-
Take a heavy base pan, pour milk in it and let it boil on a medium flame.
When a boil comes into milk, turn the flame slow and let it boil until it remains 1/3 from its quantity.
You can stir the milk in between so that it should not burn.
When it remains 1/3, add sugar and chopped pistachios and mix it well. Let it cook for 2 minutes and then turn the flame off.
Now let the milk become cool at a room temperature.
Ones it gets cool, add saffron threads and cardamom powder in milk and give it a nice stir.
Take a kulfi mould or any other thing in which you want to freeze your kulfi. Add the kulfi mixture in a mould, cover it and let it freeze overnight or for 8 to 9 hours.
After 9 hours, Kulfi is ready.
Serve it by garnishing some chopped pistachios, almond and saffron threads.
