These yummy cookies or puri are melt in mouth and with the perfect sweetness you will crave for them. Once you make and store them, then you can easily store them in an airtight container for about 2 weeks or more. So let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Kaju Puri Recipe
- Cashew powder = 1 cup
- Green cardamom powder = 1 tbsp
- Saffron = 1/4 tsp
- Powdered Sugar = 1/2 cup
- Milk = 3 tbsp
- Almond essence = 2 drops
Instructions For Making It
Firstly in a mixing bowl, add cashew powder, powdered sugar, green cardamom powder, almond essence and mix all the ingredients well.
In a separate small bowl, add saffron threads and a tbsp of milk. Stir it and soak it for 2 minutes.
Now add this milk to the cashew mixture and the remaining milk. Knead a smooth dough from the mixture.
Preheat the oven at 180 degree celsius.
In a baking tray, grease some butter or ghee and keep it aside.
Take a plastic bag and grease some butter on it, divide the dough into small portions and then make a small balls from it.
Now put a ball of greased plastic bag and cover it with the plastic sheet. Roll it by using rolling pin and flatten it.
Make all the puri with the similar process and then place these puri on the baking tray.
Bake these puri in preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, take them out and keep them aside for cooling. Once they completely cools down, serve them.
Your delicious healthy bakes kaju puri are now ready to serve. You can also store them for 2 weeks in an airtight container and enjoy.
