Jeera Paratha Recipe A delicious crispy, soft, flaky all the things at a time makes this jeera paratha. The cumin seeds, whole wheat flour and ghee, that’s all you need to make this paratha. As we all know that cumin is good for digestion and can improve many stomach problems. So one can not consume cumin seeds directly, can consume it in many different ways. Here I am sharing a way to have cumin in their diets. This is a quick and easy recipe, let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Jeera Paratha
- Wheat flour = 2 cups
- Oil = 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds = 2 tsp
- Water = for kneading dough
- Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
- Dry flour = 1 tbsp
- Oil = 2 tbsp
Instructions For Making It
In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour in it and then add oil, cumin seeds and salt. Mix all the things well.
Now add a tbsp of oil in it and then mix well.
Gradually add water in it and knead a smooth and soft dough from the flour.
Cover it with a wet cloth and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, pinch a lemon size portion from the dough.
Roll it and make it in a circular shape by using rolling pin.
Grease some oil on it and then Spread some dry flour on the paratha.
Further sprinkle some red chili powder on it.
Now fold it in a triangular shape and roll it ones again by using rolling pin.
Take a griddle, heat it up, then add the prepared paratha on it.
After 10 seconds, flip it and then grease some oil on it for frying.
Fry it till golden spots appears on it and then fry it from the other side also.
Your delicious jeera paratha is now ready to serve. Serve it hot with raita or any other sabzi.
