Irani Chicken Kadai Recipe Hey guys!! Hope you all are doing well. Here I came with the new chicken recipe which is really really delicious and easy to make. This Irani chicken kadai is nothing less then a perfect dish for the chicken lovers. The best part is that it does not require much ingredients and time to cook. All you need is just chicken, chili flakes, cumin and coriander. Make this new recipe of chicken and enjoy it with your friends and family. Let’s know the recipe and its ingredients.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Irani Chicken Kadai

  • Chicken = 700 gm
  • Roasted coriander seeds = 1 tbsp, crushed
  • Chili flakes = 1 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Cumin powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder = 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds = 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice = 1 tbsp
  • Tomato = 1, large size, chopped
  • Green chilies = 4 to 5
  • Coriander = 1 tbsp, chopped
  • Onion = 1, small size, chopped
  • Ginger and garlic paste = 2 tsp
  • Oil = 3 tbsp

Instructions For Making It In Simple Steps

Step 1

Wash and rinse chicken well and keep it in a strainer to drain its excess water.

Step 2

Take a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.

Step 3

After heating of oil, add chicken in it and fry it well for 3 to 4 minutes and then add ginger and garlic paste in it.

Step 4

Mix it well till the raw smell of ginger and garlic disappear.

Step 5

Now add cumin seeds and salt in it and also add chopped onion in it. Mix it for 2 minutes.

Step 6

Cook it for 5 to 8 minutes by covering the lid. Cook it till chicken gets tendered.

Step 7

After sometime, add chopped tomatoes and 2 tbsp of water in it. Mix it well till tomatoes gets tendered well.

Step 8

Turn the flame on a medium flame and add 1/2 cup of water in it and cover the lid. Cook it for 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 9

Now add chopped green chilies and coriander in it and mix it well. Let it cook till water evaporates from it.

Step 10

Then add all the spices like red chili flakes, roasted and crushed cumin and coriander and black pepper powder. Mix it till oil separates from it.

Step 11

Cook it on the high flame and then turn the flame off. Add lemon juice in it and mix it.

Finally transfer it to a serving bowl and serve it hot with naan or chapati.
