Homemade Instant Pudina Raita Masala/ Mint Raita Powder

Ingredients required for making instant pudina Raita masala-

  • Mint leaves =1 ½ cup
  • Fresh coriander leaves =1/2 cup
  • Black pepper =2 teaspoon
  • Black salt =1 ½ tablespoon
  • Salt =1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder =1 ½ tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds =3 tablespoon

How to make this instant  Raita powder-

Step 1-

Heat a pan and add mint leaves in a pan and roast them on low flame until leaves gets dry and crisp.

Crush the dry roast leaves and set aside.

Step 2-

Now again heat a pan and dry roast the coriander leaves on a very low flame.

Crush the leaves and set aside.

Step 3-

On a heating pan, add black pepper and roast them for 2 minutes.

Set them aside.

Step 4-

Take a spice grinder and add black peppercorns, black salt, salt, garlic powder and make a fine powder with them, set aside.

Step 5-

In a frying pan, add cumin seeds and dry roast it for 5 minutes.

Crush the cumin seeds coarsely.

Step 6-

Now in a bowl, add dry roast mint and coriander leaves, ground spices powder (black pepper, garlic, black salt and salt powder) and crushed cumin seeds. Mix them well and put it in an airtight container.

Your instant Raita powder is ready.

Whenever you want to make Raita, just take 1 cup curd and add 1 tablespoon of this instant Raita powder. Your mint Raita is ready to serve and garnish it with a fresh mint leaf.
