Raksha bandhan special Instant Paneer mithai

Instant paneer mithai, make this sweet on the occasion of raksha bandhan. The speciality of this instant sweet of paneer (cottage cheese) is that it is made without milk, ghee or mawa. It will take less time to make, so without wasting any time let’s get started.

Necessary ingredients for paneer mithai-

  • Paneer = 200 gm
  • Sugar = 1/2 cup
  • Milk powder = 1/2 cup
  • Green cardamom powder = less than 1/4 tsp
  • Pistachio = 1 tbsp (chopped)

Process for making instant paneer mithai

Step 1

Take a tray in which you want to freeze your sweet and grease it with ghee. Now chop the cottage cheese (paneer) into cubes and put it into a grinder jar. Grind the cubes of Paneer and make a paste from it.

remember that you do not have to grind the cubes of paneer continuously and you do not have to add water in it.

Step 2

Now take a pan and put the paste of paneer and let it roast for 2 minutes.

Step 3

After 2 minutes, add sugar in the paneer paste (you can also adjust sugar according to your taste).

Continuously stirring the paste with sugar on a low flame until sugar melts.

Step 4

After sometime you will see that it becomes granulated. When it becomes granulated and there is no moisture in it, then add milk powder in it and continuously mixing it by stirring.

Step 5

When paneer paste and milk powder gets mixed well together, then add cardamom powder in it because it will give aroma and flavor to the sweet.

Step 6

When there is no moisture left in a mixture then it starts leaving the pan. That is the stage when we freeze our sweet.

Step 7

Now put this mixture on the greased tray and spread it equally with the help of spatula.

Step 8

For garnishing it, add chopped pistachios on the sweet. (you can also garnish it by adding saffron, almonds and cashews whichever dry fruits you like). Press the pistachio with the help of spatula so that it will stick on the sweets.

Step 9

Now let it cool or set under the fan.

Do not put the sweets into refrigerator for cooling.

Step 10

When it is set properly, leave its corner with the help of a knife and then cut it into your favorite shape.

Your instant paneer mithai is ready to serve.
