Necessary Ingredients Required For Green Chili Pickle
- Green chilies = 40, thick, less spicy
- Oil = 5 tbsp
- Asafoetida/Hing = 3/4 tsp
- Salt = 1 tsp or as per taste
- Ginger and garlic paste = 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds = 2 tbsp, crushed
- Vinegar = 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice = 5 tbsp
Instructions for Making In Easy Steps
Wash chilies well and pat dry with cloth.
Now chop them in thick pieces or as you want.
Take a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.
After heating up of oil, add asafoetida, mustard seeds, ginger garlic paste. Saute them for few seconds.
Add chopped chilies in it and mix them well.
Now add salt in chilies and mix it. Cover it and let it cook till chilies gets 60% tendered.
Now open the lid and add turn the flame off and then add vinegar and lemon juice. Mix it well and then keep it aside for cooling.
Your green chili pickle is ready. Serve it with lentils and rice, or paratha or with any other dishes.
