Gobi Gosht Recipe | Cauliflower In Mutton Recipe

Necessary Ingredients Required For Gobi Gosht Recipe

  • Cauliflower = 1 kg
  • Mutton = 500 gm
  • Tomato = 1, chopped
  • Onion = 1, large in size
  • Green chilies = 2, slit
  • Ginger = 1 inch piece, chopped
  • Garlic paste = 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder = 1 tsp
  • Green coriander = 1/2 tbsp, chopped
  • Garam masala powder = 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Oil = 2 tbsp

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Chop cauliflower’s floret into small pieces and wash them well. Strain the excess water from it.

Step 2

Wash mutton well. Chop the tomatoes, green chilies and ginger. Keep them aside.

Step 3

Make a puree of onion and keep it aside.

Step 4

Now take a pressure cooker, add washed mutton, chopped tomatoes, ginger, onion puree and garlic.

Step 5

Put it on a flame and then add all the powdered spices like red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and coriander powder. Mix them also and then add oil in it.

Step 6

Let the cooker takes a whistle or till the mutton gets completely tenders.

Step 7

Ones the mutton gets tendered, now roast the mutton well in the spices till the disappears their raw smell.

Step 8

Add cauliflower florets in it, give it a nice mix. Add 1/2 cup of water and then again cover the lid. When the pressure is built up in the cooker then turn the flame on medium and after 10 minutes, turn the flame off.

Step 9

Open the lid and check whether the florets gets cooked well or not. If not then cook them for 10 more minutes. Then add garam masala powder and mix it.

Finally, your delicious gobi gosht is ready. Garnish some chopped coriander leaves, green chilies and ginger. Serve it hot with roti.
