Ginger Mango Pickle Recipe Hey guys!! Today I am making a delicious recipe of raw mango and ginger pickle recipe which is really really amazing in taste and easy to make. Necessary Ingredients Required For Ginger Mango Pickle

  • Raw mango = 2, cut in thin horizontal slices
  • Ginger = 200 gm, grated
  • Asafoetida (hing) = 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder = 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder = 1 tsp
  • Vinegar = 3 tbsp
  • Whole dry red chilies = 2
  • Mustard seeds (raayi) = 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek powder = 1 tsp
  • Black salt = 1 tsp
  • Mustard oil = 3 tbsp
  • Salt = as per taste

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly clean an wash raw mangoes well. Now cut them into thin long slices and keep them aside.

Step 2

In a pan, add oil and heat it up. Then add dry red chilies, mustard seeds, asafoetida and let them splutter for a while.

Step 3

Then add grated ginger in it and saute for 30 seconds and then add red chili powder, turmeric powder, black salt, fenugreek powder. Cook them for about a minute and then turn the flame on low, add chopped mango and mix it well.

Step 4

Once the mango turns slightly soft, add salt in it and give it a nice mix.

Step 5

Turn the flame off and keep it aside for cooling, once it gets slightly cool, add vinegar in it and mix it.

After cooling, store it in a glass jar. Finally, your delicious sour and spicy ginger mango pickle is ready. Serve this delicious achaar with rice and dal or aloo puri or chole puri and enjoy.
