Garlic Paratha Recipe As we all love garlic bread and it tastes really good so I thought of making paratha with the same garlic butter and trust me guys, this recipe comes out so good. You can also pack this paratha for lunch boxes or you can easily make them for dinner as well. I think they also goes well for the picnic too. Eat and make it whenever you want to but the taste will surely be unforgettable. I am using both fine flour and wheat flour but you can also use any 1 flour for making this paratha. This is totally up to you. So let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Garlic Paratha Recipe
- Wheat grain flour = 1 cup
- All purpose flour/fine flour/maida = 1 cup
- Semolina/suji/rava = 1/4 cup
- Sugar = 1 tsp
- Salt = 1/2 tsp or as per taste
- Baking powder = 2 tsp
- Oil = 2 tbsp
- Water = as required for kneading dough
- Garlic = 5, grated or finely chopped
- Soft butter = 4 tbsp
- Coriander/parsley = 1 tbsp, finely chopped
- Chili flakes = 1/2 tsp
- Oil = for frying paratha
Instructions For Making Paratha
Firstly in a mixing bowl, add fine flour and wheat flour in it and then add baking powder, salt, sugar and mix all the ingredients well. Then add 2 tbsp of oil in it and mix it till oil mixes well with the flour.
Now gradually add water in it and knead a smooth dough from the flour. Keep the dough aside by covering it for 15 minutes.
In a bowl, add soft butter, grated or chopped garlic, chili flakes and parsley. Mix all the ingredients well and then melt it in microwave for 5 to 8 minutes.
After 15 minutes, take a small portion from the dough and roll it in a ball. Then flatten it by dusting some dry flour on the surface and flatten it as much as you can.
Now add a tbsp of prepared garlic butter mixture on the flatten dough, now start pleating it by overlap one side on the other and make a strip from it.
Stretch it gently and then roll it in a swiss roll shape and center the end point by pressing it.
Again, dust some dry flour on the surface and now flatten it again.
Take a griddle and heat it up, add this prepared paratha on it and grease some oil on it. Now frying it by pressing it from both the sides till golden spots appears on it. After frying it, put it to a serving plate.
Make all paratha with the similar process.
Your delicious garlic paratha are now ready to serve. Serve them hot with any dip or sabzi as well. Enjoy.
