Today I am going to share a delicious biryani recipe. we all love fried chicken and also biryani but today I am going to make a biryani by adding fried chicken in it. Trust me guys this is so so delicious in taste. I would highly recommend this biryani to you guys. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Fried Chicken Biryani

For Fried Chicken

  • Chicken = 500 gm, with bones
  • Ginger garlic paste = 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste

For Biryani

  • Rice = 2 cups
  • Cloves = 3
  • Black peppercorns = 4
  • Green cardamom = 2
  • Cumin seeds = 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste = 1 tsp
  • Onion = 4, finely chopped
  • Tomato = 3, finely chopped
  • Lemon juice = 1 tsp
  • Mint leaves = a handful
  • Coriander = a handful
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Saffron = few thread
  • Oil = 2 tbsp

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly in a mixing bowl, clean and wash rice well and soak them in water for about half an hour.

Step 2

Take a mixing bowl, add chicken, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala powder. Mix all the spices well on chicken and make sure every piece of chicken must be coated well. Keep them aside for about 30 minutes.

Step 3

In a wok, add oil and heat it up. Deep fry the chicken in hot oil till they tendered well. Do not burn them and flip them occasionally to avoid burning. After frying chicken. Keep it aside.

Step 4

In a separate pan, add 2 tbsp of oil and heat it up. Add sliced onion in it and fry them till they turn golden in color.

Step 5

Take out half of the onion from it and in the remaining onion, add whole spices like cumin seeds, cloves, black peppercorns, green cardamom and saute for a while. Later add ginger garlic paste in it and mix them well till raw smell disappears.

Step 6

Now add chopped tomatoes in it and cook till they turn slightly soft and then add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, green chili, chopped mint leaves and coriander leaves. Cook these for about 2 minutes by continuously stirring it.

Step 7

Now add fried chicken in it and mix it well. Later add 4 cups of water in it and bring it to a boil, after a boil, add soaked rice in it and mix it gently and also add lemon juice in it.

Step 8

Cover the lid and cook it on a high flame for about 10 minutes and then turn the flame on simmer and cook on low flame for about 15 minutes.

Finally, your delicious fried chicken biryani is now ready to serve. Serve it hot with chutney, salad and raita and enjoy.
