Egg Fried Rice Recipe | How To Make Egg Fried Rice

Egg fried rice is a dish of cooked rice in which stir fried veggies, vinegar and soy sauce are added. The most important of egg fried rice are eggs, which are scramble in a pan and then adding cooked rice and they are stir fried on a medium to high flame. This is the easiest Chinese fried rice recipe which you can cook easily at home and talking about its taste, there is no comparison to it.

Ingredients Required For Egg Fried Rice

  • Rice = 2 cups, cooked
  • Eggs = 2
  • Carrot = 2, finely chopped
  • Capsicum = 1, small size, chopped in cubes
  • Cabbage = 1/2 cup, grated
  • Garlic = 3 cloves, finely chopped
  • Ginger = 1 inch piece, finely chopped or grated
  • Onion = 1, small size, finely chopped
  • Corns = 1 tbsp, boiled
  • Black pepper powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Spring onions = 3 tbsp, finely chopped
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Soya sauce = 2 tsp
  • Vinegar = 1/2 tbsp
  • Oil = 2 tbsp

How to Prepare The Recipe

Step 1

Take a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.

Step 2

Now add chopped onion and saute it until it translucent.

Step 3

After onion, add chopped ginger and garlic in it and saute for 8 to 10 seconds.

Step 4

Now add chopped capsicum, corn, carrot, cabbage and spring onions. Saute all the vegetables for 5 to 8 minutes.

Step 5

Reduce the flame to the medium and now add eggs. Cook them by continuously stir it for scramble them.

Step 6

Cook eggs until they scramble or lightly done.

Step 7

Now in veggies and eggs, add black pepper powder, salt and vinegar. Mix them well with veggies.

Step 8

Now add cooked rice in a pan and mix it well with veggies and then add soy sauce. Mix it well until eggs are completely cooked.

Step 9

Fry rice on a high flame for about 5 to 8 minutes.

Now your egg fried rice are ready. Serve it in a plate and garnish it with some fresh spring onion greens.
