This recipe is super amazing and my favorite one. I usually make this egg dosa for my breakfast as it gives me more delicious vibes than the usual simple breakfast. You can also make this dosa at your home with just simple ingredients. All you need for this recipe are dosa batter, eggs and some other basic ingredients which are easily available in your kitchen. The crispy layer of dosa and the spongy part of egg makes every bite yummy and makes you crave for it. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Egg Dosa Recipe

  • Dosa Batter = 1.5 cup
  • Eggs = 3
  • Onion = 1, finely chopped
  • Black pepper powder = 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = a pinch
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Red chili powder = to sprinkle
  • Oil = as required

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Take a bowl, break eggs into it and then add chopped onions, green chilies, salt, black pepper powder and turmeric powder.

Step 2

Beat all things well to get everything mixed.

Step 3

Take an iron griddles or non stick griddle, put it on a low flame for heating.

Step 4

After heating of griddle, grease some oil on it and spread it.

Step 5

Take a ladle, pour it into a dosa batter and then spread it on the griddle in circular motion.

Step 6

Once it slightly cooked, add prepared egg mixture on it and spread it on the dosa.

Step 7

Cook it for about a minute and then flip it.

Step 8

Now cook it for 2 to 3 minutes from the other side.

Finally, your egg dosa is now ready to serve. Serve it hot by sprinkle some red chili powder on it and serve with sambhar or coconut chutney and enjoy.
