Dragon Chicken Recipe | How To Make Dragon Chicken At Home

Dragon Chicken This Indo-Chinese recipe of dragon chicken is prepared with marinating chicken into spices and then cooked in sauces. The spicy and tangy taste is just amazing and this dish is served as a side dish in kitty parties and special occasion. This is such a quick and easy recipe of chicken which you can easily make at your home. Let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Dragon Chicken

  • Boneless chicken = 500 gm
  • Black pepper = 1 tbsp
  • Salt = according to your taste
  • Soy sauce = 2 tbsp
  • Red chili sauce = 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour = 3 tbsp
  • Egg = 2
  • Oil = 3 tbsp
  • Garlic = 1 tsp finely chopped
  • Ginger = 1 tsp finely chopped
  • Chili flakes = 3 tsp
  • Spring onion whites = 1/2 cup
  • Capsicum = 1/2 cup
  • Green chili = 2 nos finely chopped
  • Tomato ketchup = 3 tbsp
  • Sugar = 1 tsp
  • Cashew nuts = 1/4 cup
  • Spring onion greens = 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves = 1 tbsp

How To Cook In Some Simple Steps

Step 1

To marinate the chicken, take a bowl and add boneless chicken strips, soy sauce, salt, black pepper powder, eggs, and corn flour.

Step 2

Mix all of them well and keep it marinate for 1 hour.

Step 3

Take a kadai, add oil and deep frying the marinated chicken untill it becomes golden brown in colour and keep it aside.

Step 4

Take a pan and add some oil, saute cashews, chili flakes, ginger, garlic, spring onion whites and capsicum for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 5

Now in it add soy sauce, red chili sauce, tomato ketchup, salt and sugar and mix them all for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 6

Now in the mixture add add little of water and mix the mixture well.

Step 7

Take a cup and add 2 tbsp  of corn flour, some water and prepare a thin  mixture, bring it to a boil.

Step 8

Now add the fried chicken strips and mix  them well for about 1 minute.

Your dragon chicken is now ready, garnish it with spring onion green and a little bit of coriander leaves.
