Crispy Potato Balls Recipe Hey guys!! Today I am going to make crispy potato balls, which are perfect for the snacks or for parties. The best part is that they are really easy to make and a quick recipe. You can easily make them within a very less time. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Crispy Potato Balls

  • Potato = 500 gm, boiled and grated
  • Spring onion greens = 2 tbsp, finely chopped
  • Onion = 1/4 cup
  • Coriander = 1 tbsp
  • Fresh red chilies = 2, chopped
  • Red chili flakes = 1 tsp
  • Roasted cumin = 1/2 tsp, crushed
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Crushed peppercorns = 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice = 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour = 2 tbsp
  • Oil = for deep frying

Method Of Making Step By Step

Step 1

Take a pressure cooker, add water in it and then add potatoes. Let the, boil for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 2

Ones they boiled, peel off them and let them cool completely.

Step 3

After cooling, grate them and transfer them in a mixing bowl.

Step 4

Now add chopped spring onion green, onion, red chilies, coriander and mix them well.

Step 5

Then add salt, crushed peppers, chili flakes and crushed cumin. Also add lemon juice in it.

Step 6

Mix them well and gradually add corn flour in it. Mix it evenly till the mixture becomes stiff.

Step 7

Take a pan, pour oil in it and heat it up.

Step 8

Until oil is heating, lets make balls from the mixture. Grease your hands with oil and take a small portion from it and make small round ball from it. Prepare all the balls from the mixture.

Step 9

One by one, add balls in to medium hot oil. Let them fry till they turn into golden brown in color. Flip them in between to avoid burning.

Step 10

Fry them on a medium flame, so that they will cook well from inside.

Step 11

Now shake them off to remove excess oil and serve them.

Your potato balls are ready to serve. Serve them hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
