Crispy Gobi Pakora Recipe Today I am going to make a delicious hot and crispy gobi pakora which are really amazing in taste. The crispy outer layer and the soft gobi inside makes you a big fan of this pakora. The good thing is, this pakora does not need much ingredients and efforts in making. You can also refer it as the easiest pakora recipe. This goes well with tea and sauce at the evening tea or you can also serve it as a starter. So let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Crispy Gobi Pakora
- Cauliflower florets = 12 to 15
- Gram flour = 1 cup
- Rice flour = 2 tbsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Red chili powder = 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder = 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala powder = 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda = 1/4 tsp
- Garlic paste = 1/2 tsp
Instructions For Making It
Firstly take cauliflower and cut florets of it into medium size.
Take a pan, add water in it and add a little bit of salt in it. Put it on a flame and bring water to a boil.
Then add cauliflower florets in boiling water and stir it. Let the florets boil for 3 to 5 minutes.
Drain off all the water and keep the florets aside.
In a mixing bowl, add gram flour and rice flour and mix well.
Then add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, chaat masala powder, baking soda and garlic paste.
Mix all the ingredients well.
Gradually add water in it and make a smooth and lump free batter of it.
Make sure the batter must not be too thick nor in running consistency.
In a pan or a wok, add oil and heat it up.
Take a floret, dip it to the batter and coat the batter on it.
Add the coated floret to the hot oil and then turn the flame on medium. Make sure you do not have to overcrowd the pan.
Flip them in between so that they cooked well.
Fry them till they turn golden in color and turn crispier. Shake off the excess oil and transfer to a kitchen paper.
Finally, serve these hot and crispy gobi pakora with sauce and tea. Enjoy.
