Coffee Cake Recipe This is a flavorful, spongy, soft and delicious cake recipe which is perfect for the tea time. This is the best classic cake which can be made easily at home and can be served with tea or coffee as well. Well i would like to suggest you to add eggs in it as it makes its taste more delicious but if you are a vegan then you can add curd instead of eggs as well. You can also add some chocolate chips in it to make it more yummy. Let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Coffee Cake Recipe
- Oil = 1 cup
- Sugar = 1 cup
- Instant Coffee Powder = 2 tbsp
- Eggs = 4
- All purpose flour = 2 cups
- Baking powder = 3 tsp
- Vanilla essence = 1 tsp
Instructions For Making It
Firstly take a blender jar, add oil, sugar, coffee powder, vanilla essence and whole eggs. Cover the lid of the blender and blend it for 2 minutes till it turns into a smooth fluffy batter.
Once it is blended well, transfer it to a mixing bowl.
Further add sieved all purpose flour and baking powder in the prepared mixture.
Now mix it gently with the batter. Just fold the mixture gently. Do not whisk it otherwise cake will not turn out good.
Now take a tin or a mould, grease it with butter or oil and then line it with butter paper.
Add the prepared batter to the mould and tap it for 2 to 3 time so that it become even.
Take a heavy base pan, put a stand in it and then place the mould in it. Cover the lid and place a cloth on it.
Do not preheat the pan, bake the cake for about 20 to 25 minutes on medium flame.
Once it is done, check by inserting a toothpick, if it comes out clean then your cake is perfectly baked.
Take it out carefully from the pan and keep aside for cooling. Now take out from the mould.
Finally, your delicious coffee cake is now ready to serve. Serve it with tea and enjoy.
